Tara Hardiman Chadwick

Former position: Tara has joined the lab after graduating from Princeton University with a BA in Political Science.

Current position: Tara went on to study at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Safia Malki

Former Position: Safia was the first postdoc in the young Bortvin lab until 2014 when she became a Research Scientist. She moved to North Carolina in June 2017.

Godfried van der Heijden

Former position: Postdoc

Current position: Embryologist at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Erasmus MC, University Medical Center, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Shreyas Jadhav

Former position: Postdoc

Current position: Postdoc at Tufts University, School of Medicine.

Julio Castañeda

Former position: Graduate Student

Current position: Julio spent two years as a postdoc in Dr. Marty Matzuk’s group at Baylor and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Ikawa’s laboratory, Osaka University, Japan.

Pavol Genzor

Current position: Postdoc with Dr. Astrid Haase at NIH-NIDDK

Ina Y Soh

Former position: Masters Student

Current position: Ina graduated from Brown University Alpert Medical School and is currently in her last year of General Surgery residency in Providence, RI.

Valeriya Gaysinskaya

Former position: Graduate Student

Current position: Postdoc in Dr. Mary Armanios’ laboratory at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine

Summer Young

Former position: Undergraduate researcher. Summer has subsequently earned a PhD degree from Vanderbilt University.

Current position:Candidate for Doctor of Jurisprudence, Vanderbilt University Law School.

Neil Vranis

Former position: Undergraduate researcher. Neil has earned MD degree from University of Maryland Medical School and is currently an intern at the Hansjörg Wyss Department of Plastic Surgery, NYU School of Medicine.
